About Us

St. Pau
Saint Paul Coptic Orthodox Church was established in 2007. St. Mary's church in Roswell was the first church established in Atlanta. As the congregation grew at St. Mary's, there was a need to expand and build another church where demographics demand. That happened to be the northeast side of Atlanta. At first, the congregation of St. Paul rented an office location where the Divine Liturgy was celebrated weekly as well as the Sunday School service. In 2010, our building was completed and became the new home of St. Paul's congregation.

We are blessed to have in our church the relics of our teacher Saint Paul the Apostle and Saint Philopateer Mercurius (Abu Sefein) - both located in the main church upstairs, and the relic of Saint George the Prince of Martyrs located in Saint George's Chapel on the lower floor.

We are a parish of the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States, under the auspices of our beloved father His Grace Bishop Youssef

We invite you to learn more about what to expect when visiting a Coptic Orthodox Church. Additionally, the servants of both churches in Atlanta developed a series of pamphlets, which can be viewed online, to explain the faith and history of our Church.
